General Cleaning

General Cleaning Rates:

Bi-weekly and Monthly: Billed on a flat rate. An audit is performed after our 4th visit to lock in a flat rate. NOTE: If it requires eight man hours to clean and two staff members are sent, it is 4 hours x 2.

Weekly: Our weekly rate is discounted.

BASIC:

All Bathrooms (lights dusted, mirrors, sink, toilet and shower/bath)
Kitchen (counter tops, appliance fronts and surfaces, sink)
All the floors: Vacuumed & mopped.

COMPLETE:

Every General Cleaning includes the following:

  • Ceiling fans & light fixtures (dusted)*
  • Cobwebs removed
  • Blinds, window sills & lock ledges (dusted)*
  • Baseboards (dusted)*
  • Lamps & lampshades (dusted)
  • Furniture (dusted & polished)
  • All knick knacks (dusted & lifted)
  • Top of refrigerator
  • Outside of appliances (microwave inside/out)
  • Stovetop & drip pans
  • Counter tops & backsplashes
  • Clean small appliances, and empty toaster crumbs
  • Cabinets inspected and cleaned (spot check)
  • All sinks (including wiping down lotions, soap dispenser, toothbrush holder)
  • Mirrors
  • Tub/shower & tile
  • All bathroom counters & fixtures
  • Wastebaskets (emptied/relined)
  • Stairs (vacuumed)
  • Floors (vacuumed &/or mopped)
  • Windows (spot checked and cleaned. Sliders, storm doors and entry way door done with each visit).

NOTE: * - done on rotation as not all may be required.

Extra: (based on hourly rates)

  • Linens, beds must be stripped (with fresh linens provided, and a requested service)

CUSTOM:

Hire us out by the hour. Complete a list of priorities and we will get them done one by one. This can be until the maid(s) are finished or by the time allotted until the time runs out. Note that if it is the latter, not everything on your list will get completed.

Noriko's House Cleaning uses Tekon, a non-toxic water repellent to treat your (all-clear) shower glass (similar to RainX on your windshield, but Tekon, you just need to apply once a year). It makes our job easier to clean soap scum. We just ask that you maintain it by using a squeegee and towel dry. Homeowner & house cleaner working together to achieve best results.

Initial Cleaning (Spring Cleaning)

This cleaning is a complete deep clean of your home. We recommend that every new home we clean gets this treatment regardless of how clean your home is. This ensures that every surface is clean and is maintenance ready. You will love this treatment and will look forward to having our team clean for you! We can estimate, however everything is determined by the amount of dirt, grease, and grime at each home.

NOTE: Interior windows, inside of ovens and refrigerator are extra cost. See note below on one-time cleans.

Includes all of the General Cleaning plus:

  • Ceiling fans will be wiped down
  • Light fixtures (washed), Vanity lights washed & polished.
  • Cobwebs (removed)
  • Blinds (vacuumed)
  • Doors & door frames (washed)
  • Picture frame & trim (washed)
  • Cabinets (washed)
  • Light switch plates (washed)
  • Lower air return vents (vacuumed)
  • Window sills (washed)
  • Baseboards (washed)
  • Carpet edges (vacuum crevices)
  • Special attention to heavy dust build up (vacuumed) all knick knacks will be dusted & done underneath
  • Special attention to build up in kitchen
  • Special attention to build up in bathrooms

Move-In / Move-Out Cleaning

(Plan ahead ... we fit in move-in/out cleans with our regular clients. Booking 2 weeks in advance is highly recommended).

Each cleaning is unique. We do these for a property management companies professionally. An estimate may be quoted, however without seeing the physical property, it is difficult to determine due to many factors: amount of regular cleaning has been done, pre-cleaning, pets, etc.
Prices begins with: (Small Apt 3-4 hours, Bigger Apt 4-6 hours, Small homes 5-7 hours, Medium homes 8-10, and a Large homes 10+).

A complete checklist is covered for a thorough cleaning:

KITCHEN
  • Refrigerator; clean inside/outside. Move away from wall. Clean top/sides and floor underneath
  • Range/hood; clean oven, all outside and underneath. Move away from wall. Replace drip pans if necessary
  • Cabinets; wipe inside/outside, above space if open. Also, shelves and drawers wiped out.
  • Microwave; clean inside/outside
  • Clean counter top and sink
BATHROOMS
  • Clean showers (remove soap scum), tubs, sink, mirrors
  • All light fixtures (including vanity lightbulbs) all clean
REST OF HOUSE
  • All interior windows sills & ledges cleaned
  • All blinds dusted
  • All doors and baseboards to be cleaned
  • All floors mopped and carpets vacuumed
  • Clean ceiling fansClean all light fixtures and vent covers
  • All light enclosures removed for bugs
  • Switchplates cleaned
  • Spot clean walls as needed
  • Remove all cobwebs
NOTES:
  1. See note below on one-time cleans.
  2. If your oven has a cleaning cycle it is highly recommended to run it the a few days before OR the night before. The oven will be cool enough and easy to wipe out and it saves you money!
  3. Interior windows are spot cleaned unless requested.

One-Time Cleaning

A few notes on One-Time Cleans:

  1. * Please note to schedule appointments as soon as possible. We usually plan and schedule 2 weeks in advance. *
  2. All one-time clients are required to pay in cash or credit card. It would be very difficult to go after bad checks after the cleaning / moving has been completed.
  3. A 'booking fee' of $50.00 is required to hold your placement via credit card or cash. Due to cancellation and lost revenue, this is an implemented policy and deposit will be applied to balance. If cleaning is canceled 48 hours or less, the deposit will be retained.
